Born in 1993 in Chartres, Rémi Planche discovered his vocation alongside the Russian painter Feodor Tamarsky and is self-taught. He works in mixed media (inks, acrylic and oil) applied almost exclusively by hand and scratched in places, in a direct trial of strength with the material. He depicts bodies waiting, on the defensive or withdrawn, and weathered, solemn male portraits, always sublimated by beauty.
